Located just off coastal highway, US-17 in Hampstead, NC. is a challenging, Scottish links style 18-hole championship course. Although there are no trees on the course, there are the typical links hazards of tall bunkers, water, and waste areas. True to the tradition, the course demands excellent shot placement on almost every hole. And yes, like all links courses, occasionally one must factor in the wind.

While Playing The North Course the golfer will get the feel of a more links style golf course, with wider fairways and larger greens. The Pearl East emphasizes a more parkland style course, which emphasizes accuracy over power. The New Pearl West combines the best of both featuring 6 holes set on the Calabash River highlighting the natural beauty of The Pearl. COASTAL GOLF AT ITS BEST – 4 miles from Holden Beach, NC

Our links-style course winds its way among salt marshes, creeks, forests, fields, and our community.  Lockwood Folly is located in coastal Carolina mid-way between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington, NC and may require a slight detour from the mainstream to reach, but it is definitely worth the ride because the golf is challenging, yet rewarding, and the views and ambiance are simply superb.

Located in the quaint fishing village of Calabash, NC, Crow Creek Golf Club is an 18 hole public course designed by architect, Rick Robbins. Since opening in 2000, the course has maintained the reputation for being one of the most immaculately maintained courses along the east coast. The tifsport bermuda fairways and V8 bent grass greens along with the challenging and fun layout make Crow Creek a preferred stop for visiting golfers, and a local’s favorite.

Tim Cate’s Tiger’s Eye has been our most acclaimed course ever since its debut as Golf Digest’s “Best New Golf Course in America.” The course is distinguished by dramatic elevation changes reminiscent of the North Carolina Sandhills. Tiger’s Eye is a thinking person’s course, requiring precision shot making and a reliable short game. It features a stunning combination of natural waste areas, native grasses, wildflowers, pine and oak trees, and such water features as marshlands and waterfalls. This Big Cat was ranked among Golf Digest’s “Top 100 Public Golf Courses in America” for 2007 and 2008.

Bear Trail Golf Club is an 18-hole, Par 72 Championship Golf Course  Professionally Designed by Rusty Simmons of Simmons Golf Designs, Orlando, FL and Gene Daniel of Blackwater Golf LLC who professionally shaped and constructed the greens, tee boxes and fairway features.

The golf course is equipped with a Pro Shop, Driving Range, and Putting Green. Bear TrailGolf Club is the ideal course for beginners and/or novice golfers.
